Locally Grown In
Stanley, New Mexico

Family Owned & Operated For 20 Years

The rural plains of Stanley, New Mexico are situated midway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, on the eastern side of the Sandia Mountains. Atop a grassy hill surrounded by large ranches, the Daeschel family drilled wells, installed a windmill, planted an orchard and erected several greenhouses.

After an award-winning career in retail cultivation, Joel Daeschel’s dream to run his own operation became a reality, and the entire family contributed to the effort. With shifts that began hours before sunrise and lasted until twilight, a master grower and his family turned the featureless plot of land into a bountiful fountain of color and life.

The Daeschels soon discovered that the demand for their annuals, perennials, herbs, flowers, fruits and vegetables at local farmers markets was strong, consuming nearly all they could produce in a season. That’s how it began, and how it continues today. High quality plants, lovingly and locally raised and distributed by three generations of the Daeschel family.
